In the report of I.M.Miroshnik, a detailed criticism of "humanistic psychology" (including the classical pyramid of needs of A.Maslow), existential-humanistic, integrative psychotherapy, and other philosophical and psychological directions widely introduced in the ideological sphere of public consciousness in the post-Soviet space over the past 30 years is given for the first time from new theoretical and methodological positions. The theoretical positions of foreign and domestic psychologists who absolutize the principle of unlimited free will are reasonably criticized, in particular: the principle of "active maladaptivity" and "multisubjective theory of personality" by V.A.Petrovsky, the so-called "ethical personalism" by A.F.Bondarenko, etc., I.M.
