Курс лекций III планируется как часть общего курса под названием «Лекции по спиновым явлениям в ядерной физике». Он является продолжением Курса лекций I и Курса лекций  II автора. Данный курс предназначается в качестве пособия для студентов, изучающих ядерную физику в университетах и технических вузах. Представляемая здесь часть А курса лекций посвящена описанию общего формализма, применяемого для рассеяния частиц со спином ½ на атомных ядрах. The present Lecture Course III is a continuation of the author’s Lecture Course I and Lecture Course II. It is designed as an integral part of the general course of lectures under the title “Lectures on Spin Phenomena in Nuclear Physics’. The Course is intended as a tutorial for students studying nuclear physics at universities and technical institutions of higher education. Part “А” of the Lecture Course demonstrates that the density matrix is a compact method of specifying the polarization.
