This humor represents a complex cultural mechanism that allows society to cope with the contrast between exaggerated expectations of the "perfect holiday" and the reality of social inequality, family dysfunction, and existential fatigue. Sociological Substrate: Humor as a Response to the "Christmas Complex" American sociology (works by Robin Williams, Claude Fisher) has long noted the phenomenon of the "Christmas complex" — a sharp increase in depression, anxiety, and family conflicts during the holiday season.
